Who's got color to drool for? We don't know, but we're going to find them!
AT's second big contest of the year, I've Got Color!: The Fall Colors Contest, is kicking off on October 1st! Sponsored by colorful CB2 and sporting over $6000 worth of prizes, this is bound to be our biggest yet.
Why a color contest? Color is such a powerful part of interior design --and the cheapest way to change the aesthetic and emotional impact of a room. So we're taking a month to find the most inventive and beautiful submissions from our readers involving color at home. Submissions can use paint, pillows, plants, lampshades, chakra-channeling-- whatever your imagination has come up with!
For the first time, the contest is open to anyone, anywhere in the world. Submit to the AT blog nearest you (of NY, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco). Here at AT:SF that means we cover some pretty colorful places and cities, everywhere from Seoul to Seattle, Idaho City to Izmir. We can't wait to see your colors!
Looking forward to the contest, and thinking about entering--but I live in a house, not an apartment. The rules specify apartments...am I out of the running?
Hi Angie, I'm so glad you asked that question. The contest is indeed open to people who live in houses as well as apartments. We'll be correcting the official rules to clarify that.

Now, when you say include 2 pictures, do you want pictures of 2 different rooms or 2 different angles on the same room?
