Sunday is what would have been Charles Eames' 100th birthday.
If you're in LA (and a member of the Eames Foundation), you can celebrate Members Appreciation Day. There will be a celebration of both his centenary and the National Historic Landmark designation of Case Study House #8, Charles and Ray's home: the Eames House.
Even if you won't be at the Eames House on Sunday, just try to imagine a world without the Eames' contributions to the world of modern design. It's impossible, isn't it?
