I could almost see myself purchasing the Sinka cabinet. It makes me think of Alice in Wonderland because it looks all lop-sided. Not sure if that's the structure or the image..
The lamps and such remind me of Gorillapods.

eh...I'm not overly enthusiastic by anything shown here. that daybed looks like it will be very uncomfortable. I am anticipating a great outdoor furniture line however...

I guess it's safe to say that the new trend is the handcrafted/organic look. I actually like most of the stuff posted so far- it's modern whimsy.

Rats! I just bough a peppermill I don't really like.

Not very much...

I like the bench... its not really a day bed is it?

i really like the fjallbjork mug, but disappointed (a little) that it's in porcelain - impractical for its intended purpose. I prefer when form matches function, not subverts it to be pretty or unique.

I like the daybed, but I would paint the legs.

It doesn't suck.

I could maybe work with the day bed. Put it up against a wall or under a window - paint the legs and add lots of bright, textured pillows.

Ooh, I like the mushroom table, the bedspread, the peppermill, and the clock/shelf. The rest is sort of appalling.

The PS line will only be in selected stores in US and not until August.

The Karljohan stool is cute! I can picture at least one of the cats being on it within, say, a minute. The pepper mills are great, and I really love the Sinka cabinet.

70 new products, woo hoo! That lamp is really fun. I like the peppermill and the Sinka cabinet too. The cabinet reminds me of old-school library card cabinets.

Not sure if there's much point in my leaving a negative comment, but I have to say I don't like any of these. There seems to be some sort of attempt at whimsy here, but the end result is a collection without design integrity, in limbo somewhere between rustic and modern but without any of the virtues of either. I think most of these pieces will be dated in about 5 minutes. Sorry! But you asked. There have been many other great IKEA pieces in PS lines - I have a chair from about 2003 that was I think designed by James Irvine and is a close copy of the Poul Kjaerholm wicker PK22. It blows anything in this collection out of the water in shape, construction, and general beauty. I'm finding this a bad year at IKEA so far.
