You need an "All of the above" option. Maybe half my walls are white but pretty much none of my accessories, art or furniture are anything but colorful. I guess it works because we have wall-to-wall beige carpet (which I am ok with as it's pretty nice) so that seems to anchor a lot of the color pretty well.
