Started in Brooklyn by Bonney to "help women in design connect with each other to form support groups, collaborate on projects and share resources," the Biz Lady meetup was a raging success.

Over 100 (but we admit we're bad with numbers, anyone have a more accurate count of how many were there?) women asked questions and listened to Bonney, Meg Mateo Ilasco, Cate Kellison from Rose and Radish, and Emily from Working Solutions talk about topics ranging from how to get financing to how to do your own PR.

By the end of the evening everyone in attendance seemed energized and ready to get out there and put the great information they learned to use.
