We're not sure just how to describe Martin. How often is it that you see a store's site where new products are categorized under "New Shite" and press is "Blah Blah Blah"? Interior designer and world traveler Erin Martin has a sense of humor, that's for sure. And an amazing sense of style.
A while ago an AT reader, Art, wrote to us:
Erin Martin has a showroom in St. Helena that has GOT to be the most impressive and well-curated design store that I have ever seen in all of my experience. Design museums in New York don't even come close. It's THAT good! Unfortunately, their website is no great shakes and doesn't display the drama and remarkable sensibility that she has for designing and selecting work.
Erin Martin's interior design has been featured in magazines such as California Home + Design, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, and Western Interiors and Design. We're looking forward to the time that it's also on her website -- at this point that section, called "The Other Side," is a placeholder.
Check out Martin's online store for an intriguing mix of funky, unique finds.

Leslie, did you follow the same process I did to find this site (someone's coffee table in a photo shoot somewhere?)
Great stuff there. I wish I lived nearby so I could go in and drool all over it.

Valerie, ah, the crazy path a post can take:
Art emailed several months ago, but the email was stuck in my very full "stores" email folder. Shayna then found Martin (somehow, not sure how??) and did a Scavenger of items from the store. Tonight I noticed this feature on Erin Martin in California Home Design:
