I love the way you dealt with the ugly kitchen floor by painting the walls a color that complements it...makes it almost look good!

Great modern color choices! I love how you have plain white dishes, simple glasses, and let the colors speak for themselves. I think people think color sometimes and do color and pattern on everything... You guys have done a great job of pairing simple and bold together.

The colors make me confused. I like the use of black and white with saturated colors. But I am not sure I like the color combos. Springy greens and blues in one room, dark gray in the next, with a cheery yellow and then a purplish color that looks dead on the walls. It seems like a great concept that was not quite executed right.

I'm so glad that I'm not the ultimate judge of this contest. I couldn't take the pressure, because I've just seen several I love, and this one basically makes me drool. Between the piping on that couch and that purple-blue walls with the black-and-white drapes and that white, green and blue home office, this is delicious.

It's crisp, energetic and restful at the same time. Amazing.

I love both the white chair in the first photo and the black chair in the last one. Where are they from?

by far the best of all the apartments. i can just imagine what it would feel like to be in that apartment . . . i'm sure something amazing would be cooking on the stove . . . perhaps osso bucco? . . . and fabulous wine. the colors, fabrics and patterns are all perfection.

Thanks for all of your comments. It was fun to compete! The bathroom wall color was already here when we moved in. It's one of the only rooms in the apartment we did not paint. The white chair in the first photo was found in a thrift store, then painted and re-upholstered. The black chair was the same. The white couch and pink ottomans both have homemade slipcovers. May the best apartment win!
