What inspired you to use color? I can't imagine not using color, since I have the opportunity. Color is life! I have 27 cans of paint in my garage, all of them current colors in (and on) my home!

Color Tip: I select colors by my gut. Sometimes it's really clear, other times I have to surf around for a while until I can get a clear idea of a color and how it will FEEL in a room. Then I test. I have tried test patches of over 10 colors in some rooms until I got it just right! It's worth the time and expense. And when I don't get it right, well... it's just paint!

Colors Used: Kitchen - combo of Benjamin Moore 2019-60 and -40 Hallway - Benjamin Moore 2019-60 lemon sorbet Exterior - Benjamin Moore Cypress Green / trim, 1386? Blue room - trim, ICI 1576 ultramarine / walls, ICI 1545 Versailles Green office - walls, ICI 914 Sandarac / trim, ICI 1422 Midnight Haze / ceiling and doors, ICI 1440 Sanctuary Dining Room - Walls, Benjamin Moore 2172-30 Mexicana / trim, ICI 1576 Ultramarine Bedroom - Glidden 50YR, Chinatown Orange Living room - arch, Benjamin Moore 2175-30 rust / walls Benjamin Moore HC-15 / trim, Benjamin Moore 2159-60, cream

I agree - the Kitchen redo is beautiful...
...but it looks out of place with the rest of the house and the exterior.
