Since it is Pet Month I want to pass along this notice to all you animal lovers in California:

California - Vote "Yes" on Proposition 2, the ballot proposition to pass the Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act, a historic initiative to greatly improve the lives of millions of farm animals. The measure would prevent three of factory farming's cruelest forms of confinement: battery cages, gestation crates, and veal crates.

How much should I expect to pay for an original Harry Bertoia diamond chair?

I found one but the lady told me to make an offer and we'd negotiate from there. I don't want to insult her.

It's great that you guys are in so many cities---but you have to identify the city you're talking about when you're touting an event. The Renegade Craft fair is in Chicago" Who Knew? Lighting up the name of the city at the top of the page does no good. It looks like a run of the mill page heading. How about adding the name of the city after the initials AT, which appear at the top of every story. Don't know if this is the appropriate place for this comment, but I couldn't find a "contact us" heading.

Has anyone seen the "Awesome Autumn" mini catalog from Pier 1? There's a bedding set on page 41 that I really like, but of course there's no information about where it's from. Can anyone help me identify it?? Here's a picture of it.

Okay...well, in regards to the Bertoia. I made an offer, she countered it with a lower offer simply because she is the nicest woman in the world. She needed the space more than the money. Let me just point out that the number she threw out didn't break 3 digits.
