anyone know where I could find a long, narrow console table? The "slim" table from Room & Board is narrow enough, but too short. There is a similar one from CB2, but it's also not quite long enough. I'm looking for something like 60" x 10" (or 9" or 8").

You probably know this, but just thought I'd mention that you can have a Portica console custom-made to your size specifications at Room & Board. We did this and it turned out very nicely.

Does anyone remember a tour with a vintage wood display shelf for holding magazines? I believe the owner painted it a lime green ... and it was in the entryway. I saw one at a yarn shop yesterday (holding magazines) and my desire to own one is renewed.
