I love AT:SF too for what it's worth. Did you guys just start house tours or did you always have them?
I don't have a design question but I have a Sonoma question. I'm here til Sunday and am looking for a Sonoma lunch restaurant recommendation as well as a Russian River winery recommendation. Looking for casual lunch with local organic cuisine and good wine and any small wineries that produce Pinot Noir or outstanding Russian River varietals.
btw Delfina Pizzeria kicks major ass!
thanks!

art,
We've done house tours since the beginning -- you can check out past ones by either clicking on the little photo in the column to the right (we didn't always have that photo) or by going into our archives via the blue box, also in the column to the right.
I personally haven't had lunch in Sonoma in a while, and the only place that comes to mind is Piatti (is it still there?), which has wondrous lemon ravioli.

art--for lunch in sonoma, you will LOVE the girl and the fig.
oh and i totally forgot my question in my last comment--does anyone know where i can get a piece of butcher block cut custom, or a place that offers many sizes? i'd like to make a perfect-sized table for my teensy kitchen.
I headed out before I got your recommendation. I'll have to check it out next time around. We ended up tasting some wine in Sonoma and then headed to Napa for dinner at Market.
Have you checked out Boos block for your table? They are kind of the big one when it comes to butcher blocks and cutting boards. Also, depending on the size of your project, Ikea has butcher block countertops which can be cut down and sanded.
Thanks again!

Thanks for putting my question out there. I'm now back in Chicago where it is snowing right now thinking about all the great places in SF I made it to over the past week.
Thanks again!
