I'm spending some time cleaning/clearing my desk. My current "theme" is white, with hints of blue and wood and other neutrals. It makes me happy to bring order to a space. It seems that order makes way for clarity of thought and purpose.
I've created two stacks of books that reflect that same theme, either by content or by design.
Nice way to spend a blustery afternoon.

I whole heartedly agree ebrown.
I no longer have a desk at home, but I make a point every Friday afternoon at work to clear off my desk and make sure my in box items are ordered by priority so that Monday morning everything is fresh and easy to get started. It's the most productive 15 minutes of the week.
hi all. if you've been a long time at reader i've found a place in the bay area to move. to recap. i sold my home in philadelphia 6 months ago and moved near a friend in sacramento. now i'm ready to take the next step to the bay area. anyone from around sacramento know of a good mover to get my stuff to san francisco(the peninsula actually). i must be crazy to be moving again so soon but that's beside the point! obi.

I was wondering if anyone could help me find this really nice sugar and cream holder. It is cylindrical and I believe white ceramic. The top has a place to hold the sugar so that when you pour the cream, the sugar bowl sort of swings in place and only cream comes out. It's a little hard to describe. I think it's by a Swedish designer. Anyway, I'm sure I found it on this site originally and now I can't find it again! Please let me know if you know where I can find this.
