Am I crazy, or did I read about a liquid sander here a few weeks ago? I think it was featured in Blueprint?

I can't find anything on it, and I really wanted to check it out!

Hey zunzie, have you tried our new lightning fast search function? Check it out and let us know if it works! (Or if it doesn't.)

Does anyone have any alternate transportation suggestions for getting to the flea market with the bridge closed all weekend?

Shannon - if you are coming from the city - the Alameda Ferry landing is right next to the flea market.

D'oh - the "in SF" part of your signature should be a big clue that yes, you are in the city.

shannon in sf: b/c of the bridge closure, there will be increased public transportation this weekend (e.g., bart is running 24 hours, i think). here's a link to this weekend's ferry schedule:

Hi Leslie, I did try the search function, and nothing came up. I was hoping maybe someone on the boards had read the Blueprint blurb (because I searched their site, too) or maybe remembered where it was.

zunzie,

i tried to find it on at, too, without any luck. i came up with some information on other sites (cottage living, etc.) when i googled it, though. did you have a question about whether it works, or the brand, or. . .?

zunzie - i think i found the blurb you were thinking of (i hang on to way too many magazines!): it's the Klean Strip Easy Liquid Sander. according to blueprint: "just wipe one coat of the solution on any painted item (be sure to open the windows first!), wait a few minutes, and wipe it off. ta-da! you're ready to repaint or refinish as desired." available at www.cornerhardware.com for $5.50

good luck with your project!
