This isn't exactly a design question, but I need to run a cable along the wall behind my steam radiator, and was wondering if I need to do anything to shield the cable from the heat?

jennifer in sf, insulation sounds good to me! i say this after melting a firewire cable with my space heater. perhaps the thermal insulation padding that one uses around water heaters would do the trick.

Would it look "funny" to hang mirrors right inside the front door? I have a small little entry space, hardwood floors, and right as you walk in, directly in front of you is a wall, and then to the right is the walk way into the apartment. I found these mirrors on gnr8.biz that have oscar wilde quotes on them that I wanted to put there, so right as people walked in they would see them, but I was a little concerned with how it would look. Any ideas? Other suggestions for my entry area? I've thought about taking pictures and submitting it to AT, just never have.
