Has anyone got suggestions as to where online I might be able to find some bright, marimekko-ish patterned short curtains (or a roman blind) in a perky shade of red or orange on a white background? Or is that too specific and should I be less picky? I want to brighten up my kitchen! Any tips would be great, thanks!

Contact the Scandinavian House in NYC - they are on line. Their gift shop has exclusive rights to all Marimekko paterns and they would get the order from you after you have chosen the fabric on line at Marimekko. Give them a call.

There's usually Marimekko stuff on ebay.

Reprodepot online is also a great resource for nice fabrics, although you would have to sew the curtains yourself...
