Just returned from the Southwest: a two week vacation. Spectacular? Yes. Fun? Yes. Result? I'm sooooo glad to be back in the Bay Area. There is really no place like it. Also, it's nice to be able to get a decent latte. Santa Fe does NOT have a coffee culture; it has a chile culture, which is a good thing, but mainly the coffee sucks. Also the lettuce; iceberg, anyone? So today we're back to our usual routine which includes mild weather, roses still blooming, a diverse population, and AT: SF!

Yikes! I'm famous! In fairness I have to say that nowhere are there skies like those in New Mexico. And despite the fact that Santa Fe has become Zozobraland, it is still beautiful.
