This weekend we cleaned out our front hall closet - something that hadn't been done in far too long. In the process, we discovered just how desperate our need for more shoe storage actually is (when you come across more than two pairs of shoes you forgot you owned, you know something's wrong.) Right now this Shoe Bag is the top contender for helping us control our favorite collection.

Yes, it's a little ugly, and while we're big fans of pretty closets (it helps us keep them organized) we think we might bend a little on this one just because the thing looks so darn practical. The fact it's made from fabric "comprised of 69% recycled plastic water bottles (PET) and 31% cotton fibers" is a bonus for sure. But really, they had us at 22 pairs of shoes in one organizer.

Um, I think it holds 22 shoes, not 22 pairs of shoes. So only 11 pairs.

i actually work at the container store and that particular product does swivel. there are more compartments on the other side.
