7-Section Stacking Pill Organizer at The Container Store

9-12-08pillsext.jpgIf you're like us, you are obsessed with The Container Store. Whenever we visit the store we can't help but go through every aisle, as we often find that a specific type of container could be used for something entirely different than what The Container Store is pitching it as. On our last trip we found these wonderful pill organizers and thought they'd make great jewelry organizers. And guess what? They do!

9-12-08pills.jpgHere's why they work for us:

• Each compartment is only large enough for one necklace or one set of earrings, so nothing gets tangled.
• Each compartment screws into the one underneath it, so they're incredibly easy to open.
• We never worry about spilling.
• They're only $1.99 a pop!

Your link to the product says "pillow organizer". I giggled trying to picture stuffing miniature pillows in there.

Funny my sister used their sewing kit with the same purpose. I don't see it on the website but it retails for about $21 but I saw it there last month and it has all these different sized little draws. It's cute and multifunctional.

heh heh heh heh... pillow organizer. :)
This would be a neat way to store my medicine cabinet supplies too. It'd be nice having advil, motrin, tylenol cold, multi-vitamins, etc all in one easily accessible container.

Awesome! Perfect, and I love how it's a little display of your jewelry too. Looks like there is a larger size as well? (on the left) I'll poke around the website...

If you don't have a Container Store locally, these are available to Michael's, Joann Etc, and other craft stores, usually in the beads section. I use them to store various types of pins.

Awesome idea. I have been looking for a vertically-approved storage solution for awhile. So simple but I never would have thought of this. I took advantage over the weekend and it's working out great. Love that you can see what's inside each unit.
