Aarikka Towel Clips

We've seen Aarikka mobiles before, but here's one more playful home accessory from the Finnish designer and manufacturer: towel clips!...

The clips at first seem more decorative than anything. But then we thought of all the times we've hung a towel on a hook only to have it slip right off. Towel clips fasten directly to the towel and provide a loop for hanging towels snuggly in their place. The clips are strong enough to hold a wet bath towel and we think they'd also be useful for keeping towels identified among several children, for instance.

Available for purchase in the US at FinnStyle. See the full collection of designs at Aarikka Oy.

I was going to say "pass" until I scrolled down to see the moose. What can I say, I live in Maine most of the year.

growing up in poland, all towels came with fabric loops sewn in. i always thought it was a perfect idea unheard of in north america. these towel clips are absolutely adorable but somehow seem like a complicated solution to a simple problem - demand towel manufacturers sew in loops or sew some in yourself: done!

Cheap solution - clothespins. If you have a bunch of guests, each gets a clothespin with their name on it.

These are really cute, but they seem like just another thing to get in the way.

Or you could sew different-colored ribbon loops onto your towels.
