Days Ago Digital Day Counter

1-30-daysago.jpgIt's not just our current memory problems that lead us to forget how long it's been since we opened that bottle of red wine, or put those leftovers in the fridge, or changed the oil in our car, or gave the dog her heartworm medication. Often we just lose track of the days.

The DaysAgo Digital Day Counter just might be the solution. It's a simple gadget that attaches with a magnetic or suction backing and counts up to 99 days.

$10 for two (either suction or magnetic), in two of four possible assorted colors: lime, tangerine, charcoal and blueberry. Available online or at select stores, including Cooks Boulevard in Noe Valley and Draeger's in Los Altos, Menlo Park, and San Mateo.

I don't understand the need for an expensive gadget to keep track of this kind of thing. (If you think about how many items are in your fridge, $5 per counter is going to add up to a big expense!) In our house, we just label items with the date they were opened, went into the fridge, etc. A few bucks will buy you a few hundred labels at an office supply store.

I'm with you a-m, a nice little sharpie marker makes a great date marker...and washes off of glass quite gracefully
