See Jane Work's Desk of the Month

Sitting at a desk all day long is not our idea of fun. But See Jane Work makes it more bearable with their great selection of stylish office goods.

One of our favorite things about the site is the Desk of the Month feature. Every month, See Jane Work assembles a lovely look for us to drool over. And all of the components are listed out so you can easily pick and choose items that might work well on your own desk.

This month's look, shown above, is called "Classic Brown." If you're looking for more bursts of color, check out the June 2006 desk, "Modern."

For those in a cubicle, September 2006's "Cubicle Chic" is inspiring. Having a workspace like this just might make the 9-to-5 grind more enjoyable!

We're looking forward to seeing what Jane comes up with for August. Check the site next Wednesday for a new Desk of the Month.

The best thing to do to improve the desktop landscape is get an Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

A bluetooth keyboard and mouse do make the workspace look neater (no wires!), but my mother has the iMac in the first photo and we burn through the batteries in the mouse. The keyboard lasts longer, but not the mouse. Luckily she barely uses the computer, so it's only when I'm home for an extended stay that it becomes a problem, so I can't imagine what a pain it would be for someone who uses that computer all the time.
