Dune Deep Seating Daybed & Ottoman

2007_03_31_dune1.jpgExhale.

The Dune Daybed says relax like no other piece of outdoor furniture we've ever seen.

For starters, it's made for sprawlers: at 74.5”w x 51”d x 32”h., it requires a rather large piece of land, preferably with a view (as pictured).

Then there's the fact that it's practical: made from weather-resistant flat hand-woven resin, with an integrated table, it anticipates your every lounging need like the staff at a luxe Hawaiian resort.

Finally, it's beautiful, evoking windblown sand and referencing the biomorphic lines of Noguchi's Freeform sofa and ottoman. No surprise since it was designed by that other master of organically-curved furniture, Vladimir Kagan.

Good thing freight is free, since Dune will cost you about the same as that vacation in Hawaii: $3166 plus $599 for the ottoman.

Available at Curran in Seattle.

Wow that looks so comfy, wish I were in the islands right now, or sitting on that and not sitting in my chair at work.
