Our indoor and outdoor planters and vases might match, but that's simply because they're standard terra cotta you can get anywhere. We've enjoyed Melissa Borrell's etched glass lighting, and thought these planters — and matching vases, if you please — were an interesting addition to her collection.
The shape is meant to resemble a dramatically hilly landscape, rendered in primary colors. While we could see these done not-quite-right (as above, sad), done right they could evoke a vast cartoonish landscape on a tiny porch or regular sized dining table.
