This is one of those "why didn't we think of that?" ideas. So simple, yet we don't think we've seen anything like it before. Have you?

The Leaf Swing is just a prototype (for now), so unfortunately we can't give you a price or a place to buy it (we will if and when it launches). But seriously, isn't that really cool?
omg. if that was made into a hammock I want one now! that is a very cool concept. I agree. why hasn't anyone thought of it before?

looks too lopsided to swing normally.

Ouch, hot in the summer! My ass would bend that metal in half anyway :-P

It looks like it's rubber.

Great idea in theory. I agree that it's a bit too lopsided to work quite right. Maybe a banana leaf would be better?

put a cushion on it and have fun. or compare grid marks on your tush.

Very pretty but I have to agree it might stick to your legs. The design has the same stencil effect as these benches:

i like that the rain won't puddle in it like with the solid ones!

These are great..please keep us posted when and if they launch it.
If they we made of some padded foam..they would eliminate the possibility of grid marks on the tush.

Because kids like swings even more than you and me and without a doubt one of them will notice this patently kid-unfriendly swing in your garden, even thought it's not visible from the street... After gaining access in some sneaky and well thought out manner, such as climbing over your fence when you're not home, and while shouting 'look what I can do' for the 1,000,000th time that day, get a finger/hand/toe/foot caught in one of the gaps, flip over and if not bash his/her darlling little head on the ground will at the very least scream bloody murder because they are stuck until some poor adult in the neighborhood has to come rescue them by cutting the little rotter out of the swing with a leatherman - see they are useful gifts!
I think the swings are very cool, though it appears to me that they would have to be taken down in the winter.

i don't know what makes a swing practical or not, but it's certainly beautiful.

The tree in my back yard is begging for this swing! It is 80 degrees outside and this would have been a great way to take a break during my Fall Cure cleaning.
Please let us ATers know if this does become available.

Very creative! Love how it looks. Hopefully it is as functional as it is beautiful to look at.
