We came across Hakatai when searching online for glass tile, and were impressed with the sheer beauty of their installations. Many tile shops will sell you a wide range of tiles, but Hakatai sells only glass tile. Their glass tile is found in hotels, spas, homes and murals around the country.
We've traded emails with them and found them prompt and friendly. Hakatai is not so large that you'll be overwhelmed, and the photographs of what people have done with their tiles are inspiring.
If you're doing glass tiles in your apartment, we recommend contacting them for a price quote and trying them out. Any local store you go to will be shipping the tiles you order in anyway, so there's no reason not to trust someone at a long distance when it comes to tiles.
