Dorothy Draper Paint Chips from Benjamin Moore

9-23-08draper.jpgDorothy Draper is, by far, our favorite decorator. Her designs have constantly inspired us. Benjamin Moore put together a special palette of their colors that captured the style of Dorothy Draper a year or two ago for a museum retrospective show. Above are the colors they included.

These are surprisingly close to the Pantone 2009 Spring Colors selection that everyone was dissing last week. Except for Pantone's "Super Lemon" yellow, the colors are almost all the same.

There is a lot of pink here. Gotta say, not crazy about any of these, except maybe the apple green.

I really like a lot of these, and I don't think they resemble the Pantone ones at all.

At Sea might just work for me, I've been on the hunt for the perfect 'not-quite-green', 'not-quite-blue' muted bedroom color.
