I painted a wall in my bedroom taking inspiration from Otomi embroideries. It includes an inventory of all the animals I have had in my life. The background color is school bus/curry and the animals and flowers are passionflower orange. I painted the pattern in one crazy day. (There have been many parakeets)

I like the colors and pattern on that wardrobe, but it's a bit too much on such a large piece of furniture. You also lose any sense of the shape or details.
Also wanted to add a link to this stenciled yellow floor.

I have a hand painted wall in my living room, and I LOVE it. Or, I WILL love it, once its finished (I'm at the half-way mark). Its incredibly labour-intensive, and the process is seemingly never-ending... But it looks incredible.

The armoire is great the rest of them are a little dull though.

I painted my bed head - I am so pleased with it, even though it isn't perfect how I wanted it, because I never do anything like that. I had left it plain wood because it was fine that way and I was worried that I couldn't do it how I wanted, but I love it so much! I have other similar things planned, but it will have to wait until the weather is better here in the southern hemisphere.

The bit in the left hand corner is stencilled, then I just freehanded. Not perfect, like I said, but perfect enough for me.
