Look!: Chalkboard Paint Border

Chalkboard paint has become popular - we've seen walls done with it plenty of times, and almost always like the effect. We really like what Anastasia of Faiella Design has done with it here though - a border above the wainscoting, that manages to look fun while staying completely grown up.

Not quite seeing the point of this. It looks like someone went on a rant with chalk instead of whatever quoting it is, in that you can't read because it's up too high, and illegible hasty scrawl. It's messy looking, and kind of crazy, the psychological diagnosis kind, not the quirky beautiful kind.

I think this is WAY cool. Romantic, and very hip. I think it is very creative. I agree, the chandalier is nice too! A nice room all around!

The chandelier is a Jim Misner, Light Opera Chandelier. Jim is a local Bay area lighting designer and does tons of custom designs from vintage and found objects.

I just love his work and how it fits in with this design scheme!
