Look!: Nice Painted Wood Paneling

Not to beat a dead horse here, but we feel it only fair to show off the other side of the spectrum when it comes to wood paneling. See more pics below the jump...

We clipped this article, featuring potter Gwyn Hanssen Potter's home, from Australian Vogue Living last summer. We had just delved in to our own battle with wood panels and not all of the relevant parties were convinced that paint was the way to go.

We whipped out these photos to support our cause with sublime effect. We think they show just how charming painted wood panels can be...slightly quirky, slightly homey and completely fresh.

These pictures remind me: does anyone know what happened to the Ogla chair at Ikea? I was thinking about maybe picking up a few, but I can't find them on the website anymore. I don't live that close to an Ikea, unfortunately. Thanks.

P.S. The kitchen in the top photo is very pretty.

I love cheery, but homey look of the yellow wood paneling, thanks for the idea!
