As we prepare to move our pet beds to yet another new home, we realize that although they're beloved by our dog and cat, they're ugly. Why can't we have beds like this lovely Chou-Chou by Bark Deco? Its simple lines and modern look make it look like furniture for humans.

Well, the price tag of $1,000 is pretty much the determining factor.
However, if we won the lottery, they'd be on our shopping list. We like the fact that the talalay latex foam cushions are a naturally derived biodegradable product. They provide full body and joint support, and are also hypo-allergenic and breathe to keep pets warm in the winter and cool in the summer. And the cushion cover is fitted and removable, and made from that wondrous Crypton super fabric.
The elevated Chou-Chou bed also has a ventilated platform and rubber feet.

Toe stub?
It seems like you could DIY it pretty well with just a nice frame and foam cut to fit.
Getting them to sleep it in it is quite another thing; our cats will only sleep in the rattiest, ugliest, welcome-my-trailer-look-all-the-plaid-matches beds they can find. Ugh!
hardly a toe stub, more of a toast of. I bought one of these and my dog loves it. he's prone to joint problems and seems to thrive on it without the groaning of getting up off the floor. the quality is really good and it's more of a fashion piece that accentuates the funiture in the room.
