I have this for my dog crate. I really like it, but in the end I had to toss the padded thing and the pan liner pad because my dog chewed them up. Since the door side is still open there is plenty of air in there and dogs love dark, cave like spaces and like to have only one access area (that is they like to feel safe from attack from behind) so the three sided cover is ideal. The cover is really worth it, it is a cotton poly blend so it never looked rumpled. also, I placed the crate under a dinning table and the cover just makes the whole thing disappear, people have come to my place ten times before they realized that I had a crate.
