ICFF 2008: Gaia & Gino

5-29-dog bed2.jpg We'd hoped to find the Guzel Water Bowl at this year's Gaia & Gino booth. Unfortunately, it turns out that it never went into production. Oh well. Most of what we saw was already covered here, but we did like their leather Loop Dog House...

I think the water bowl is gorgeous, but I wonder what the loop is for. I have no pets, but am still curious. It looks like a strangling hazard for the wrong size pet.

my guess is, the loop is to help you pick it up. . having a very thirsty lab, I have two huge water bowels, and I probably refill them each twice a day in the summer. . that's a lot of bending over!

YES! The loop-hole is a handle to grab the bowl. That is sad news about the Guzel water bowl. It is absolutely gorgeous. I have been waiting for ages for this line to his the US. I am desperate for a white Wild bowl.

maybe you could even use the hole to hang it up for taller dogs? depending on how you hang it.. could work..
