Oh why, oh why does the Rondo Stand have to be European? (We're waiting for a response to our email to see whether the company has a distributor in, or ships to, the US.)

We show the Rondo Stand here -- it looks more like hip, modern furniture than something for a pet. It's really striking in its space-age simplicity. cat-interiors' other products, Rondo Wall and Day Bed (Bowl, Crown, and Divan) are just as cool. (You can see them below the jump.)
With the right finds at Urban Ore, that stand is a DIY project. One table base, one oval wastebasket, some power tool work, and some padding... voila!
