3 Good Things on Sale at EQ3

8-18-eq3 frey.jpgWith the big-name home stores stuffing our mailboxes with new catalogs every week, we often get caught up in what's new there and forget about lesser-known chains, like EQ3. They've got a similar price point to their more well-known competition, but less of a tendency to inundate us with their ads, which we like. A lot of their accessories are marked down right now, so we thought we'd share a few of our picks.

The Frey Wall Clock is really sleek and simple, with a nice pop of orange in the arms... and the $7.49 price is hard to beat.

8-18-eq3 carmona.jpgThe Carmona Wine Rack offers another simple outline, but a kind of cool design that's functional to boot, holding up to 14 bottles. $16.25.

8-18-eq3 minela.jpgAnd last of all, we just love this little Tord Boontje-inspired trivet. Only $.99 - not bad!

how does their sales model work? it seems like they don't do direct sales (at least near me in massachusetts) -- do those prices get reflected at their resellers? or can you order through the catalog and i'm just missing something?

I can't figure out how to order online. Is there a trick?

they do not do online sales. i just ordered a couch through them and i had to order it from the Norfolk Virginia store (its then being shipped to NJ). The staff there was really helpful, which i would hope holds true for their various stores around the country, and they did not mind organizing shipping to another state.

Its too bad. They have a lot of really great looking stuff in their catalog and absolutely no way of getting it to people...
