We were very taken by this solid, architectural doorstop, but we think it's really the beautiful barn door, opening up to the flokati rug from a brick courtyard, that has us swooning.

We have these weights at the manufacturing plan I work at, and you always see them being used as doorstops (against company procedure, since they could get damaged and therefore not weigh their standard weight). I guess now I can buy a pretty one for home, to remind me of work.

I think there's a lot cheaper options that are just as, if not more attractive than this.
A doorstop should not cost $50 bucks.
Why not find a cool iron antique figure at a flea market? I'm sure there are plenty of Heavy Ceramic pieces to be found as well. Maybe even a heavy glass piece if you can find the reallllllllly thick old school glass.
Take something that was meant to be a small coffee table sculpture and use it as a doorstop.
