Funny. At the Christkindlmarket this past Sunday, an artisan was woodburning names into some wooden crafts. I smelled the smoke from a few booths down and the whole experience reminded me of when I had my own woodburning set when I was a kid. This would be so much fun to do yourself with your own stencils and designs.

The tool is kind of like a heavier duty soldering iron. Very easy to use. And it smells like BBQ when you use it!

the DIY column at design*sponge offered something similar a few weeks ago. makes you want to get a woodburner and go to town.
