We never much cared what a wall clock felt like before; after all, by definition it's an object for the eyes and not for the hands. But Cake's felt clock makes us realize that an object that looks soft and touchable can be as pleasant as actually doing it.
This can of course be easily duplicated with one of those make-your-own-clock kits or by using the works from an old clock, but the price isn't too unreasonable considering the investment of time.

I am surprised to see that apartment therapy thinks cutting 1/2" felt into a circle and then cutting 5 holes in it is "easily done". I agree the getting of the clock movements will be easy. Oh well, deaf ears. 6 months late.
