We saw this glass hand today, and while it would work quite well serving its original purpose as a jewelry stand, we think with a little imagination it could be useful in other areas of the house, as well.

For example, what about hanging keys on it at your landing strip? Or depending on the angle of the hand, you might be able to wedge important mail in there, too. And for those of you who recycle sandwich bags, we think hanging them to dry on the fingers of one could offer a nice alternative to the standard chopsticks-in-a-toothbrush-holder we've seen around. Any other suggestions?

I have one in cobalt blue I've had since I was a little girl. It still holds all the rings I've had since I got it too.

If you have more than one, you can put your hands together.

Rubber glove holder in the kitchen.

I was looking at them in my local UO this past weekend and while they're cute, they're not heavy enough to hold keys or mail without falling over. If you glued it to some sort of stabilizing base it would work, but as is it will topple over easily if anything more than normal jewelry is put on it.

i have a rubber glove mold that i bought at an antique show years ago. sort of like this. very sturdy, and it's been used to hold jewelry, mail, keys & little hollow doll bodies.
