Hope Forever Blossoming Travel Vases

8-6-hope forever blossoming.jpg

Leaving home doesn't have to mean abandoning the pleasure of fresh flowers in your home, away from home as it may be. These flat pockets of printed vinyl expand into impromptu flower vases when filled with water—they'd pack super unobtrusively in a suitcase or be the witty cherry-on-top of an otherwise unoriginal gift of flowers.

From Japanese design duo Ryosuke Uehara & Yoshie Watanabe a.k.a D-Bros a.k.a Hope Forever Blossoming (what a name, that last one). They come in sets of two, available for $25 from Flight 001 or in greater variety (but unconfirmed ability to ship to the U.S.) from Australia-based dedece.

Thank you, style-pd!

i bought these in amsterdam while on vacation. great for arrangements in our sublet. i've recycled most of my other vases - these are perfect for small arrangements and don't take up any room in the cupboard!
