Modern Housewares and Accessories by Museum of Robots

We had the pleasure of meeting Bay Area designers Richard and Vicki Küng at the Home and Housewares show earlier this year. Their not-so-big-but-filled-with-great-things booth stood out immediately and was a real breath of fresh air in the huge...

... convention center. An interesting couple, the designers live in an Eichler (and yes, an amazing-sounding house tour is in the works) and really DO have a collection of toy robots. They say that the Museum of Robots collection is "where a love of robots, technology and product design combine in functional products for the home".

First row, left to right:
1. Flying Saucer Bowl Set - can be used covered, or the top can be used as a second bowl by resting it on its antennae
2. Cowbot Set
3. Silhouette Set
4. Scientific Vase
5. Black and White Set

Second row, left to right:
6. Tea Towels
7. Cowbot Closeup
8. Cowbot Closeup
9. Pet Felt Collection - made from 100% post consumer recycled plastic bottles
10. Museum of Robots logo

Museum of Robots products are available in select locations across the country - more info and the full product line can be seen right here.

The whole idea of cowbots really captures my imagination. I'll probably dream about them out on the open range tonight. My favorite is the one with the lasso.

I love the cowboy robots! Two great 1950s tastes that are great together. So cute.
