Pink Vinyl Tablecloth

pink_tablecloth.jpg

How fitting that a company called LovelyLovely makes this product. What keeps the cotton-candy pink lacy tablecloth from being too sweet? The fact that it's made of vinyl. (We're envisioning this piece for an afternoon garden party.)

If the tablecloth size of 54" x 70" doesn't work for you — or perhaps you want a little less pink — doilies are also available (and they make great placemats!):

Online, you can purchase the tablecloth ($58) and doilies ($38 for an 8-pack)at 2Jane. Locally, you can find them at Eden&Eden (which we blogged about here). The last time we were in the San Francisco boutique, they had the doilies in turquoise as well.

From the ads, I can't tell if the tablecloth and doilies have a backing the way non-lacy vinyl tablecloths do. If they don't, they have a lot of potential to leave a permanent lace pattern in the finish of a wood table.
