Kitsch or cool? We're somewhat torn, although we think this hand-embroidered San Francisco Pillow could add just that touch of fun every home needs. (As long as you don't do the San Francisco Town Toile, too.)
Or it could just be a sentimental gift for a friend who's moving cross-country.
I do like the kitch aspect, but I wish that it wasn't so focused on the touristy, while ignoring the whole southern portion of the city.

I gotta vote cool, but then I have a long-standing affection for old travel memorabilia. I have the place plates my grandma collected and a few little water globes and statues of famous landmarks (although a little statue of the Golden Gate bridge is still on my 'want' list).
