Soda Can Mirrors by Kathy Taylor Gray

Of all the ways to reuse a soda can for home decoration, we love how Kathy Taylor Gray has managed to abstract the colors and designs of these imminently recognizable brands for a mirror frame that stands out, without looking like, well, trash.

With mostly jewelry as the main attraction in her Etsy shop NooBoo, the one remaining soda can mirror is no more. But you can still find blender lamps (!) and a picture frame adorned with soda can barcodes.

I'd love this if it was made by some craftsman in the 3rd world using sardine tins, but alas, it's sort of craft-fair junk.

I'm surprised but I actually like this! It's tastefully done.

I think its cool no matter what world it is made in. A beautiful way to re-use.

I think it's cool too. I remember an public art exhibit a the Salt Lake City Airport. One of the pieces was a double wedding ring "quilt" formed form recycled Coke cans. I loved that too.
