Throw Pillows from Paper Cloud

4-7-pillow1.jpg4-7-pillow2.jpg
Throw pillows are one of our favorite accessories, not too expensive & easy to store, keeping a few sets around to switch when the mood strikes isn't that hard. We love the pillows from Paper Cloud - hand printed on linen, they're a little bit sweet and perfect for spring. Each of their seven designs are available in a myriad of color combinations, meaning you're not limited to the patterns that happen to fit with your current color scheme.

Available for $75 each on Paper Cloud's website.

Yay, more Cincy love! It's so great to see local design represented on AT. Another cool Cincinnati home goods studio is three sheets 2 the wind.

Forgive me, but since when is $75 for a throw pillow "not too expensive"? I love the designs, don't get me wrong, but one could easily reproduce them for a fraction of the price... why do they cost so much, then?

Davidasposted you took the words out of my mouth. Making my own pillows was about the first sewing project I ever took on as a 12 year old...

Are these pillows inlaid with gold? Am I missing something? $75 is way too much.

Like AndreaU, one of the first things I learned to make was a pillow. I could easily find and buy fabric that I like more then what these were made with (although I do think they're rather cute) and whip up my own pillows.

Making your own things is actually a very attractive idea, since you have more control over matching styles, colors and patterns. The only way, in my opinion, for manufacturers to combat this is by pricing their products reasonably. I would have to put much more effort into earning that $75 then simply making the pillow myself.
