Is it wrong to look at the wedding blogs when we're not getting married or directly involved in a wedding? Never mind, we don't want to know the answer. But we did spy this unique flower arrangement while browsing.

The corn in the picture looks fresh and succulent, which seems kind of a waste since we'd rather eat it. But it gives us ideas for the dried, colorful corn that becomes available right around this time. We'd cut it a bit shorter, and offset the country vibe with a different flower.

I make table pieces and small bouquets with artichokes, I find them gorgeous.

Hmm, I don't think I've ever seen corn at a wedding but I'm pretty sure the last three weddings I went to were paid for in part by $5 /bushel corn
