I'm imagining it now.. mammoth sunflowers, giant allium, gerbera daisies, and a pond with the giant Amazon lily pads.

Careful, those are poisonous to people and pets, unlike the entirely edible dandelion.

Oh, there are REAL dandelions that big in my neighbor's back yard* (he hasn't mowed the lawn YET this year).

*OK OK, I'm exaggerating. Don't send any raving botanists over, please.

Those are Salsify, a wonderful food, but only eat the roots. They taste like a cross between a carrot and a potato. Some stores around here sell them, but I'm fortunate enough to have them growing like weeds in my garden. oh, they are weeds, but tasty weeds!
