Look! Vertical Garden at Shotwell

93009shotwell1.jpgClearly we're a bit obsessed with Woolly Pockets gardens; we've brought them to your computer from one end of town to the other. Now there's a new one you've got to see, at Shotwell boutique in the Union Square area...

Walls of lush greenery, installed by Liam Supple of Flora Grubb Gardens, line the stairs that lead into the boutique, creating a kind of jungle tunnel.

We'd love to hear from anyone who's tried Woolly Pockets at home. How have they worked out in a home environment? Let us know below!

I love green walls, but don't you think they would be hard to maintain (especially indoors with all that dry air and lack of natural light) ?

Woolly Pocket green walls aren't really any harder to maintain than ordinary household potted plants. in fact when cared for properly, they're actually easier to maintain. plants thrive in breathable flexible Woolly Pockets. and yes even 70's style plants look awesome in Pockets. of course i am a bit biased, i'm one of the founders...
