I love how lived in this room feels -- it's eclectic, but doesn't feel too all over the place. Clean and comfortable. The fabric panel behind the bed are a great idea too. I might try this in my new apartment!

This room is a bit strange to me. The individual pieces are Asian or Asian-inspired, but the overall look and feel isn't Asian. It's a really nice room, though, definitely "finished". I like the blue/gold accents with copious amounts of cream.

Hi Michele here- thanks PhillyLass! Actually thank you EVERYONE for voting and leaving comments! You're all the BEST! As for the navy silk medallion coverlet- you'll laugh but I found it for 20 bucks at an estate sale the day after I painted the room. It was the last piece of the puzzle! I was told that the previous owner had traveled extensively to Hong Kong and bought it there. I've never seen anything like it here stateside.

I might paint the ceiling too. Maybe a slightly lighter shade than your walls? Nice photography, btw.

I'm with tulpoeid. You were robbed! The kitchen is nice but something you could find in any spec showroom of a newly "converted loft." Your bedroom is fabulous - an incredibly cohesive design that looks effortless. That is good design.

This is STUNNING! You've made a cool blue incredibly warm. I love the starburst mirror on top of the curtains. I wouldn't have thought to do that but it looks great. I also love the cheetah pillows juxtaposed with the Asian textiles. Well done!
