And because everybody's got to eat...

I love the first bedroom. I would love to hunker down in there on a rainy or stormy day with a stack of my favorite magazines or a good book. What a cozy haven!

I love the way that first room looks too, but all I can think about is dust and how it might affect some guests.

LOVE that first room. more pics please!

I agree with sally305. Unless that room is getting a large cleaning before the guests arrive, not suitable at all. And I'd think the sun coming in that window in the morning would be getting everyone up bright and early - possibly before you are ready for them.

Agree with Sally and Chris!
Make sure your guest isnt asthmatic with all the books and dust and mites that will gather there, might look nice to some but will cause breathing problems for others.
And I have a negative thing for heavy items above my head when in bed.
Some of the others are lovely tho

Likewise,
love the first room especially

Bet that first room wasn't designed by/for a Californian. All those books above the bed? Very earthquake un-safe.

I love the decor of the top photo... the bedding is a little blah though.

I love the first room! It's so incredibly cozy. I would have loved it as a child and I want to make something just like it now. It sort of vaguely reminds me of Amelie, which I also like!

Haha, I'm a little squeemish about the first one too. Might have something to do with living in an earthquake zone and perhaps also that I once had a bookshelf come down on my head in my sleep once (pre-earthquake zone living days...)
Nothing like waking up to the feeling that someone has just taken a baseball bat to the side of your head.
I like the white west elm day bed, but I'm not sure what is up with that creepy hook hanging over it??....
