While we usually advocate donating or passing on books you no longer read, there are still plenty of bibliophiles out there (guilty) with not enough space on their shelves for every beloved tome. What to do? Utilize a nook here or there around your home in order to keep them at hand...
That last suggestion only 'works' in larger rooms/homes. I sometimes have to stack excess library books on the floor, but I never spread them out like this. The orientation of the books is less-than-function as well. Given the space, stacking the books along the wall beneath the art with the spines facing out makes much more sense.
